EasyLink Services Corporation (NASDAQ: EASY), a leading global
provider of outsourced business process automation services that
transform manual and paper-based business processes into efficient
electronic ones, today announced its partnership with Data
Fabrication, Inc. to help mid-market companies automate key
business processes such as the creation and distribution of
invoices and statements. The partnership leverages the integration
of EasyLink's Production Messaging 2.0 service and Data
Fabrication's PDFBlaster software solution. Data Fabrication's
PDFBlaster product is a document delivery solution for mid-market
accounting packages. PDFBlaster provides a straight through process
for high-volume document delivery via fax and email, as well as
online archiving directly from the accounting software lines of
ACCPAC, Sage/Best, Exact/Macola, Microsoft, QuickBooks, and others.
PDFBlaster requires no hardware, third-party software, or
customization to the accounting package, and installs in a matter
of minutes. Its SmartFind printer driver technology automatically
pre-addresses batch accounting documents, such as invoices or
statements, and delivers each document automatically via fax or
email. EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 has been integrated into
PDFBlaster to support fax delivery of accounting documents.
EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0 Service offers customers an
integrated "toolbox" of capabilities to manage the process of
creating and distributing transaction documents electronically,
replacing paper based processes and in-house infrastructure.
Companies of all sizes can use EasyLink Production Messaging 2.0
Service to eliminate or reduce the number of steps and degree of
human intervention involved in producing and distributing business
documents, gaining the benefits of lower cost, greater
productivity, easier regulatory compliance management, and improved
customer service. Typical business applications include electronic
distribution of purchase orders, invoices, financial statements,
trade confirmations, price notifications and travel or shipping
documents. The service supports a wide range of document formats,
such as TIFF, PDF, and XML, and multiple delivery channels
including fax, e-mail, web services, and mobile devices.
