Insmed (NASDAQ: INSM) announced today that it has filed a preliminary prospectus supplement relating to an offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to a Form S-3 shelf registration statement filed last month with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Insmed will also grant the underwriters in the offering an option to purchase up to 3,000,000 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
