Mitel Announces New Executive Appointments Aimed at Furthering Customer UCaaS Adoption

Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW) today announced three executive
appointments key to driving the company’s strategy aimed at helping
customers transition to the cloud. As a global leader in business

and a sharper competitive edge.
Gurdip Jande joins Mitel as Vice President of Cloud Product
Lifecycle Management to evolve and execute Mitel’s global cloud
strategy. Jande has more than 20 years of experience in leading
strategy and development of products from concept to successful
market acceptance. Prior to Mitel, Jande held senior leadership
roles in product strategy and management, strategic alliances and
business development at companies including Nortel, SMART
Technologies and Aver Information.
As Vice President of Cloud Research and Development, Muni
Madhdhipatla will be responsible for driving product innovation,
bringing over 20 years’ experience in unified communications and
contact center product development and engineering leadership to
Mitel. Madhdhipatla most recently served as Avaya’s Vice President
of Engineering where he was responsible for their top
revenue-driving products.
Seasoned sales professional Rick Boyd returns to Mitel as Vice
President of Cloud Sales after nearly 20 years. He previously held
the position of Regional Director of Sales before leaving to join
Verisign in 2000. Boyd’s extensive background in the information
technology and services industry will serve to accelerate Mitel’s
go-to-market cloud strategy.
