BellSouth (NYSE:BLS), one of the nation's leading communications
companies, today announced that it has selected Westell
Technologies (NASDAQ:WSTL) to supply its VersaLink Gateway for
BellSouth FastAccess(R) Broadband DSL Subscribers. The announcement
builds upon a relationship that has been in place for several years

and customized configuration screens to allow for seamless customer
self installation. "The Versalink Gateway will be used as the
primary support for BellSouth HomeNetworking Plus(R) Service.

BellSouth's Broadband Internet Operations and Support organization.

BellSouth strategic capabilities for advanced service deployment,
such as DSL2+, enhanced QoS for the DSL connection and the 802.11
home connection," he added. "VersaLink is enjoying strong
acceptance in the DSL marketplace, and we will continue to work
