HONOLULU, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless has named Ed Maruyama as director of sales of Cingular Wireless' Hawaii market which is a part of the company's West Region. Maruyama, formerly director of sales operations in Little Rock, Arkansas., will be based in Honolulu. In his new role, Mr. Maruyama will oversee all business and financial matters for the company in that market. "Ed has demonstrated exceptional value to the company, and he's an excellent choice to manage Hawaii and lead its success in the future," said Tammi Terrell, vice president and general manager of Cingular Wireless, San Diego/Las Vegas/Hawaii. Maruyama is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He also earned a Master's degree at the American Graduate School of International Management.
