Coverage Improves in Dahlonega and Cleveland ATLANTA, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless continues to build out its Georgia network and today announced it has activated its fourth new cell site for the Lumpkin County area this year. The four new sites are part of a $165 million network investment statewide by the nation's largest wireless carrier and will significantly improve coverage in the Dahlonega and Cleveland areas. So far this year, Cingular has activated 91 cell sites of the 170 planned for Georgia. Key areas for enhancements include: Dahlonega: * Enhanced coverage for the city of Dahlonega. * Additional coverage near the Lumpkin and White County line along Highway 115, Highway 52, and Highway 284. * Additional wireless coverage along Highway 9 and Highway 52 just west of Dahlonega. Cleveland: * Extended coverage into the North Georgia Mountains mainly along US 19, US 129 and the Turners Corner Campground area.
