The 50 Most Important Hispanics in Business and Technology recognizes leaders from government, academia and Corporate America. Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology selected Barros from a lengthy list of candidates based on his outstanding work in the field of technology, his strong leadership achievements in helping to advance access to technology, and contributions to furthering technical literacy within the Hispanic community.
