CVR Energy Names Carl D. Findley As Vice President, Human Resources

SUGAR LAND, Texas, Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI), a refiner and marketer of petroleum fuels and majority owner in nitrogen fertilizer manufacturer CVR Partners, LP (NYSE: UAN), announced today that Carl D. Findley will become the companies' vice president of human resources, effective immediately.

Findley had been the human resources manager at Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC, in Coffeyville, Kan., a subsidiary of CVR Energy. 

Findley has more than 18 years of experience, including staff and management positions in labor relations, employment, regulatory compliance, compensation benefits, training and human resources information systems.  He is certified as a labor relations professional by the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University.

Findley has spent most of his career serving in various human resources management positions related to predecessor companies of CVR Energy, such as regional human resources manager for Farmland Industries Crop Production Division and manager of human resources and safety for Farmland Industries' refinery in Coffeyville and its nitrogen plant in Lawrence, Kan. Before joining Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing in 2007, Findley was a human resources employment and benefits supervisor at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation in Burlington, Kan.

He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pittsburg State University.
