Corporation (NYSE: NOC) released its 2012 Corporate Responsibility
Report (CRR), a comprehensive publication that highlights the
company's ongoing commitment to corporate responsibility including
environment sustainability, support for science, technology,
engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, community service and
corporate philanthropy. It is the sixth year the company has
published this report.

Reporting Initiative, a third-party organization that has developed
a widely used environmental, social and governance reporting
framework. The report is also evaluated by an independent external
review panel.

In the area of diversity and inclusion, some highlights
include:
- Half of the company's college hires in the past four years have
been women and people of color.
- In 2012, more than 14,000 Northrop Grumman employees
participated in employee resource groups, which play a key role in
the diversity and inclusion strategy, assimilating and developing
the workforce and leading community outreach efforts.
- Last month Northrop Grumman was ranked 29th on the DiversityInc
2013 Top 50 list, the highest listed aerospace and defense
company.
In the area of environmental responsibility:
- We were awarded the 2012 Cool Planet Award for excellence in
energy efficiency in the aerospace and defense category.
- Named to the Carbon Performance Leadership Index, the top 10
percent of participating companies for exemplary performance
related to climate change mitigation, adaptation and
transparency.
- Identified as a leader in the Maplecroft Climate Innovation
Indexes, ranking 30th of 360 publicly listed companies.

- In 2012 we continued our efforts to expand and improve the
pipeline of talented STEM students nationwide. Northrop Grumman,
