Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador
Initiative™. Through this initiative, NOAA formally recognizes
Northrop Grumman as a partner who is improving the nation's
readiness, responsiveness and overall resilience against extreme
weather, water and climate events.

Weather-Ready Ambassador on Sept. 18
by presenting a Google Hangout on Air hosted by the American
Astronautical Society (AAS) and American Meteorological Society
(AMS).
Entitled "Overcoming Extreme Weather," the one-hour
digital event will bring together representatives from the national
weather community to discuss challenges in forecasting and
preparing for extreme weather. The panel will also discuss advances
in science and technology designed to aid experts in delivering
better information to protect life and property.
