outstanding performance in support of its Global Supplier Diversity
Programs (GSDP).
This is the 24th year that Northrop Grumman has recognized its
suppliers with World Class Team awards for supporting the GSDP
(formerly known as Socio-Economic Business Programs), which strives
to ensure that capable small businesses, including small
disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned and service-disabled
veteran-owned, companies located in historically underutilized
business zones, AbilityOne organizations, lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender owned concerns and Historically Black
Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions, receive the
maximum practicable subcontracting opportunities on all major
programs.
The extensive review of suppliers began last summer with awards
given to companies demonstrating exceptional support and commitment
to the GSDP goals and objectives using criteria such as product,
service, quality and record. Other considerations included
demonstrated delivery performance, outstanding program support,
superior technical achievement and reported cost
performance/competitiveness and/or continuous process
improvement.

percent small business statutory goals for more than 10 consecutive
