Northrop Grumman Corp. (NOC) has received a $274 million environmental test and integration services contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the aerospace and defense company said Tuesday.

Northrop Grumman said it will provide environmental-test and integration-related services for the development and operation of spaceflight and ground-system hardware and software at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

The contract will support the NASA Goddard Engineering and Technology Directorate, which provides engineering expertise to projects within the space flight center and manages environmental test and integration facilities, the company said.

The company said its technical-services business unit is a contractor for NASA's Sounding Rocket Operations Contract and NASA's Balloon Operations Contract.
