Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) on Wednesday said it launched a new loyalty program to replaces its participation in the shuttered Plenti program.

The Houston oil and gas giant said its new program, dubbed Exxon Mobil Rewards+, will enable customers to earn and redeem points on fuel, car washes and convenience-store purchases at participating Exxon and Mobil stations across the U.S.

American Express Co. (AXP) in April said the Plenti points program, which the card company launched about three years ago with a variety of participating merchants, would end on July 10.

Exxon Mobil said it will match unused Plenti points for Exxon and Mobil customers who participated in the previous Plenti program and meet eligibility criteria.
