--ExxonMobil Corp. (XOM), Russian energy firm Rosneft, Japanese company SODECO and India's ONGC Videsh will form a consortium to take on the task of building a liquefied natural gas plant in Russia, Reuters reports Tuesday, citing two sources familiar with the talks.

--The four companies are partners in the Sakhalin-1 group of natural gas fields that will supply the plant, and Exxon and Rosneft want to construct the facility within the framework of Sakhalin-1, the report said.

--The cost of the facility could total $15 billion, the report said.
