Exxon Mobil Corp. on Friday said its board raised the quarterly dividend by 3.4%, to 91 cents from 88 cents.

The new payout, equal to $3.64 a year, represents an annual yield of about 3.38% based on Thursday's closing price of $107.55, up from about 3.27%.

The Irving, Texas, oil giant said the increased dividend is payable Dec. 9, adding that its aggregate payout for the year will reach $15 billion.
