BonTerra Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BTR) (FRANKFURT:9BR) (the "Company",
"BonTerra") continues drilling its Eastern Extension property ("the Property")
which is situated 170km northeast of Val d'Or, Quebec. BonTerra is currently
drilling BA-11-33, one of a series of up to nine (9) deep holes (550-700 metres
deep each) in advance of the gold resource calculation on the Property. The
Company anticipates drilling to be completed later in September. Once all gold
assays are received, BonTerra anticipates having Geologica complete the NI
43-101 compliant gold resource calculation for the Eastern Extension. BonTerra
anticipates drilling a grand total of roughly 15,000 metres and submitting about
7,000 drill core samples to be assayed for gold. All of this data is being input
into the 3D model of the Property as the mineralized zones continue to be
expanded.

BonTerra has also resampled secondary vein systems in some previously drilled
holes including BA-10-01 and BA-10-02. These secondary systems are often seen to
host gold as well as the primary target, the smoked mineralized veins.

Description of the Eight Drill Holes with Gold Assays Pending

-- BA-11-10 is being extended to 600 metres in depth. This drill hole has
led to the discovery of a new vertical ore shoot and had seven veins
hosting visible gold ("VG"). This new ore shoot is open at depth and is
being tested by a further four (4) drill holes.
-- BA-11-25 and BA-11-26 were drilled under the lake in the west to expand
the Peninsula zone. Of great interest to BonTerra is the intercepting a
mineralized smoked quartz vein deep under Lac Barry.
-- BA-11-27 was drilled along section with BA-11-16 in order to deepen the
gold bearing veins in the east which BonTerra discovered earlier this
    year.
-- BA-11-28 was originally drilled to 399 metres. This drill hole is being
deepened to approximately 600 metres. The goal is to intercept two
parallel vertical ore shoots which host smoked mineralized quartz veins.
-- BA-11-29 was originally drilled to 199 metres and has since been
deepened by nearly 100 metres. The Company has received partial assays
and disclosed a partial intercept of 7.86 metres grading 14.60 g/t gold
    including 3.5 metres assaying 32.74 g/t and 0.70 metres assaying 114 g/t
gold. This intercept was based on a limited number of samples. BonTerra
expects to disclose an updated and thicker gold intercept once the
    remaining assays are received.
-- BA-11-30 was drilled underneath the known gold mineralization in the
Peninsula Zone with the intent to deepen said mineralization.
-- BA-11-31 is of great interest to the Company as seven distinct highly
mineralized smoked quartz veins were observed. Many of these veins are
poised to deepen and greatly increase tonnage of the ore shoot recently
    discovered in BA-11-10.
-- BA-11-32 was drilled to trace these new deep ore shoots. The Company is
intrigued by the new discovery of four roughly parallel highly
mineralized veins at great vertical depths. These deep veins are new and
have the potential to exponentially increase the tonnage and add
additional gold ounces to the upcoming gold resource calculation.

Thomas Clarke, Director states, "With BonTerra drilling roughly 15,000 metres on
the Eastern Extension it should be very clear how highly we value this property.
Our hard work as a team is now paying off in spades as we are now discovering
mineralized ore shoots at greater depths. I anticipate releasing our first
resource calculation in the not too distant future. This Resource calculation
will be the culmination of a year in which we have worked steadily and
methodically advancing this property."

Geological Characteristics of the Gold Bearing Veins on the Eastern Extension

The target for all drilling on the Eastern Extension property is smoky quartz
veins mineralized with sulphides (pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite
+/- visible gold). Sulphides commonly compose 1-10% of the mineralized zones and
can be as high as 50% locally. Alteration is most commonly silica, carbonate,
chlorite, tourmaline and sericite. The combination of quartz veins, tourmaline,
alteration types and sulphides is ideal for gold mineralization in the area.
Sphalerite present in the quartz veins appears to be associated with the highest
grade gold zones on the property to date.
