CALGARY, April 10, 2017 /CNW/ - Softrock Minerals Ltd (SFT on TSX-V) announces in a progress report for the first quarter  of 2017 that an independent engineering report filed with SEDAR states that Softrock's reserves during 2016 increased over 200 % to $308,000 at a 10% discount.

President Nick Taylor commented that the welcome increase in reserves was due to the start-up of production from the Northern Alberta Charlie Lake oilfield where only the first well has been completed on the company's 640 acre lease.
