Acquisition of Securities of Strategem Capital Corporation

Michael Katz, a director of Strategem Capital Corporation ("Strategem" or the
"Company") (TSX VENTURE:SGE), has acquired 16,200 additional common shares of
Strategem in the public market on April 8, 2010. The 16,200 common shares of
Strategem acquired by Mr. Katz are approximately 0.31% of the presently issued
and outstanding common shares of Strategem.


Prior to the acquisition of the 16,200 common shares, Mr. Katz owned 1,241,293
common shares of Strategem such that he presently owns a total of 1,257,493 or
23.9% of the common shares of Strategem. Mr. Katz has control over all the
securities referred to above.


The shares were acquired for investment purposes only. Mr. Katz may in the
future acquire additional common shares of Strategem or dispose of common shares
of Strategem.
