Caduceus Software Systems Corp. (OTCBB: CSOC) (the Company)
announces that many of the big technology vendors, such as
Microsoft, Google, IBM, and AT&T, are recommending that all
Industries move toward cloud technology, and some industries have
already decided that that's the direction to take. “For the medical
industry it appears that the only question about cloud computing is
not if, but when,” states Ken Terry of Fierce Health IT.
The idea of cloud computing is to allow hospitals and clinics to
digitize their patients’ records through mass digital production
and securely store, process, and maintain data of the patients on
secure servers. The information would then be available to
patients, doctors, and hospitals to retrieve the data remotely over
the internet.
Stephen Herrod of VMware, a big cloud-computing firm, says: “The
surging popularity of smart phones, tablets and other hand-held
gadgets plus the government push for digitization add up to an
unstoppable force that will help firms in the business of
electronic health record digitization should be able to overcome
all the obstacles. If so, the slow, inefficient health-care
industry will enjoy faster transmission and smarter analysis of
data, and better diagnoses. Doctors, nurses and, above all,
patients, will benefit.”
“It is our goal to update our software in order to be able to
keep up with today’s technology and market demands for cloud
technology. With our Caduceus MMS Software it is our goal to
securely provide billing and the EHRs of the patients to doctors,
clinics, and hospitals on a system that is securely hosted in the
cloud. Cloud-based EHRs are less expensive and have smaller upfront
costs than onsite systems so integrating our software with cloud
computing will allow us to be more competitive,” states Derrick
Gidden, CEO of Caduceus Software Systems Corp.
