(1)	First Real Estate Investment Trust of New Jersey is a real estate investment trust. Beneficial interests in the Trust are designated as "shares" without par value.
(2)	The purchases reported on this Form 4 were made pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the reporting person.
(3)	Shares held by Mr. Artinian's son, Ronald K. Artinian.

Remarks:
Explanatory Note: This Amendment amends a Form 4 filed by the reporting person on January 11, 2018 (the "Original Report") to delete a purchase transaction that occurred on November 8, 2017 and that was inadvertently disclosed on the Original Report, as that transaction had been previously reported on Form 4 filed by the reporting person on November 9, 2017.
