Through TeCoup, Madison Ave. Media’s wholly-owned subsidiary, advertisers simply add a text number and keyword to their newspaper advertisement. Customers type that information into their cell phones and immediately receive the latest coupon – or even directions to the advertiser’s location – as needed.

Initial campaigns were launched on August 5th and 6th on behalf of Kansas City-based McCarthy Nissan (offering a $9.95 oil change), Randy Reed Nissan (offering a $29.95 oil change and tire rotation – buy 4 tires and get the 5th for $1.00), and Frida's Mexican Restaurants (offering free Guacamole with the purchase of a dinner). Advertisers and customers, alike, are excited about this new interactive technology.
