WARSAW--Poland's state-controlled PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (PGE.WA) approved a dividend of 0.86 zloty ($0.26) per share from the company's 2012 earnings, in line with management's proposal, the company said Thursday.

The dividend payout will total PLN1.61 billion, about half of the company's earnings last year.
