Contestants can show the world what makes them "Mega" while benefiting hurricane relief efforts AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Dodge brand is giving Texans an opportunity to show the world they really do "live" large and "give" large through a series of Mega Livin' contests to be held at the State Fair of Texas Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2. For each participant in the "Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin;" contests, Chrysler Group will donate $25, up to $15,000 total, to the American Red Cross to benefit hurricane relief efforts. The Dodge brand is encouraging Texans with "mega" talents to gear up for the six fun contests that will recognize fair attendees who "live large" every day. The contests, to be held at noon and 3:00 p.m., include: * Mega Buckle (biggest belt buckle) - Friday, Sept. 30 at Noon * Mega Height (tallest woman/man contest) - Friday, Sept. 30 at 3:00 p.m. * Mega Hair (biggest hair contest) - Saturday, Oct. 1 at Noon * Mega Foot (largest boot size/foot) - Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3:00 p.m. * Mega Mouth (longest smile) - Sunday, Oct. 2 at Noon * Mega Lid (biggest hat/head) - Sunday, October 2 at 3:00 p.m. State Fair guests interested in participating are asked to visit the Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin' exhibit located at the Dodge Truck Display in the Truck Zone Plaza to fill out an entry form and review contest rules. A panel of judges will select a winner in each category based on the contest rules. Six winners will be named in honor of the new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab(TM), the only pickup truck with a cab large enough to comfortably seat six adults. Winners will walk away with a mega title as well as a Mega Livin' Gift Package including a choice of a getaway to an exclusive hotel or a Mega Livin' sports experience.
