Group and Chrysler Financial will sponsor the annual conference of
Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Inc. being held July 11 - 16 in
Detroit. Along with a $30,000 financial contribution, the Company
also provided a fleet of 15 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge vehicles to
the executive board of the organization. In addition, Chrysler
Group and Chrysler Financial also will host a VIP Networking
Reception on Thursday, July 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cobo Center.
Company representatives will be in attendance to speak to the women
of AKA about career development and employment opportunities. The
Boule, held every two years, is the sorority's celebration of
sisterhood and is a backdrop for the development of future
community-service programs nationwide. The week-long festivities
include plenary sessions on health, leadership, AKA history and a
special ceremony honoring deceased members. The last Detroit-based
Boule was in 1986. "Like AKA, Chrysler Group is focused on the

Fraud Prevention and Automotive Financing. During the sessions,

with tips for protection against identity theft and tips to help
