* Record CPOV sales posted for the month and year-to-date * Chrysler Group year-to-date CPOV sales grow five times faster than the pre-owned vehicle segment AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Chrysler Group reported that its Five Star dealers posted a November 2006 sales record of 9,457 Certified Pre-owned Vehicle (CPOV) units, rising 10 percent from November 2005 sales. Year-to-date sales accounted for a record 107,271 units, growing five times faster than the CPOV segment, which increased sales 2 percent. Aided by an 80 percent increase in Chrysler Pacifica sales, total Chrysler brand vehicle sales rose 12 percent to 2,876 units in November. Significant sales of the Jeep(R) Grand Cherokee (up 25 percent) and the Jeep Liberty (up 27 percent) pushed total Jeep brand sales up 31 percent to 2,618 units for the month. Although the Dodge Magnum had a successful month, with sales rising 21 percent year-over-year, overall Dodge brand sales dipped 2 percent to 3,963 units.
