DaimlerChrysler Announces Retirement of Steven A. Torok AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DaimlerChrysler Corp. today announced the retirement of Steven A. Torok, Senior Vice President - Strategic Assessment. Torok, who was named to the position in June, has held a number of key positions during his 30 years with the company, among them, Chrysler Group Vice President - Business Strategy; General Manager, Chrysler-Plymouth Division; General Manager, Mopar Parts Division; and Executive Director, Sales and Marketing Operations. Torok was also a key member of the Chrysler "Loan Guarantee" team and the post-merger integration team. "We'll miss Steve's valuable contributions, especially in regard to global development," said Tom LaSorda, Chrysler Group Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Board of Management Member, DaimlerChrysler AG.
