-- Brookfield Asset Management and electricity utility Endesa are weighing bids for electricity assets owned by EDP-Energias de Portugal that could be valued at around EUR2 billion, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

-- The Portuguese utility company is expecting initial bids later this month from Brookfield and Endesa as well as other bidders including France's Engie, Spain's Iberdrola and an infrastructure arm of Australian investment bank Macquarie Group, according to Bloomberg.
