Orange to Cut Up to 485 Jobs in Spain -EFE

--Orange SA is looking to implement job cuts affecting a maximum
of 485 people in Spain, news agency EFE reports, citing a company
release.
--The French telecommunications firm's plan to cut around 15% of
its workforce in the country is opposed by Spanish labor union the
UGT, EFE reports. Workers' representatives will be convened for
negotiations in the coming day, according to the agency.
--Orange didn't immediately respond to a request for comment
from Dow Jones Newswires.
