Phlomis Finance, a real-world asset investing platform built on the Chromia blockchain, has announced a collaboration with responsAbility Investments AG based in Zurich, Switzerland. With over 20 years of experience, responsAbility has established itself as a global leader in impact investing. responsAbility provides investment solutions to retail, professional, and institutional investors across the Financial Inclusion, Climate Finance, and Sustainable Food sectors with a focus on driving impact in emerging markets.

The collaboration will enable Phlomis Finance the opportunity to offer, through its resilient investing platform, a range of responsAbility private debt and equity products for the fast-growing real-world asset (RWA) market. Web3 project treasuries and investors looking for additional yield have invested in tokenized US Treasuries, private credit lending, and other asset types. The Phlomis Finance-responsAbility collaboration will now provide individual digital asset investors and institutions access to an expanded set of liquid and longer-term fund offerings.

responsAbility’s investment solutions deliver measurable impact alongside market returns. By driving sustainable economic growth, they can contribute to poverty alleviation by empowering individuals and businesses in emerging markets to generate income and create jobs. Furthermore, their strong emphasis on gender inclusion advances women’s economic empowerment, reflecting responsAbility’s commitment to advancing key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

One of the primary goals of the collaboration is the recording of all financial and impact reporting events on-chain. These transactions include securitization, primary issuance and secondary trading with the goal of offering full transparency and accelerated settlement to investors. Phlomis will utilize the Chromia blockchain as a secure data layer to record financial and impact transaction data. It will also use the Chromia on-chain Filehub solution to host its virtual data room for investor-oriented document sharing. ChromaWay, the builders of Chromia, provided initial funding to Phlomis Finance through its venture arm.
