Dassault Aviation SA said Thursday that it has signed a contract with Indonesia for the supply of 42 Rafale fighter aircraft.

"The Rafale acquisition for the Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara (Indonesian National Army Air Force) includes a complete turnkey solution, with a comprehensive package that covers aircrew training, logistical support for several Indonesian air bases, and a training center with two full-mission simulators," the French manufacturer of military and business jets said.

In December 2021, the company said it signed a deal with the United Arab Emirates for 80 Rafale F4 fighter aircraft.
