Board Change

BioScience VCT plc announces that Dr Paul Nicholson has resigned with immediate
effect as chairman and director of the company. This has arisen from a review by
Dr Nicholson of the workload involved in his various directorships.

The board of the Company is very appreciative of the contribution which Dr
Nicholson has made and anticipates being able to maintain an informal
relationship with him in order to obtain his advice on particular matters from
time to time.  The board will announce a new chairman in due course.
