Cagney, an integrated group of marketing services firms, announces the launch of
Exedra, a creative brand consultancy designed to help brand owners recognise and
maximise the revenue potential of their brands. BrandAid, one of Cagney's
original operating companies, becomes a division of Exedra, providing
quantitative and qualitative support for creative development projects.


Paul Simons, CEO of Cagney commented: "In our market, our consulting resource is
an important differentiation. The development of Exedra provides further
leverage with senior client management, vitally important for our longer term
development."


Exedra's Managing Director is Ben Kingsmill, who joined Cagney in July from
McCann Erickson where he had been since July 2003, working on accounts including
Pan European Coca-Cola and Bacardi; Unilever ice creams; Microsoft MSN; and
Tiffany & Co NY.


Murray Chick, Chairman of Cagney's advertising agency Chick Smith Trott and
founder of BrandAid, will be Ben's managing partner in the new venture.


Murray Chick said "This is an exciting opportunity to explore and exploit brand
potential using highly strategic analysis and solutions."


Ben Kingsmill added, "Murray and I share similar views on branding, and we are
