The Board of earthport today announces that following the handover to new Chief
Financial Officer Chris Hall, who was appointed in August 2003, Bob Mennie is to
retire from the Board and the Company as of today.



Bob Mennie has served within earthport since 1997, firstly as Company Secretary
and as CFO and Company Secretary in the period from January 2002 to August 2003.



earthport CEO Rob Cunningham said,  "In a very stressful time for the Company,
Bob has been stalwart in his dedication and hard work and essential, with his
knowledge of the Company's legacy, to the recovery of the Company through to its
present trading position.  Bob's resilience and determination in the face of
adversity made him an invaluable colleague and friend to those of us who worked
with him during this period.   Bob has shown more mettle than most in his
determination to see the Company through its difficulties.   He leaves with our
gratitude and very best wishes for the future. "
