    Result of Annual General Meeting

    FibreGen plc (AIM:FBG) announces that all resolutions put to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held 24 July 2008 were duly
passed.  The full text of the resolutions is set out in the Company's Notice of AGM dated 29 June 2008. These resolutions included: adoption
of the audited Annual Report and Accounts for the year to 31 December 2007; reappointment of the Company's auditors; re-election of
directors; approval of shareholder pre-emption rights; and allotment of equity securities up to 10% of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital.
