                    Disposal of Adminstration Headquarters



The Board of Hartford Group plc is pleased to announce that it has exchanged
contracts to dispose of the lease on the Group's corporate headquarters at
Ledbury Mews, Notting Hill, for a capital sum. This action will generate cost
savings in outgoings of #65,000 per annum.


The Group's administrative headquarters have relocated to one of Hartford's
existing restaurant sites in central London.
