Company intends to propose capital restructuring to shareholders 
 
 
At its meeting of 6 May 2009 the Board of Partners Group Global Opportunities 
Limited (PGGO) decided to propose to the shareholders a de-listing of the 
Company and conversion into an open-ended investment company or another vehicle 
with structural liquidity. The proposal is supported by the results of numerous 
investor meetings and a legal feasibility study. 
 
 
Since the Board's announcement of initial capital restructuring ideas last 
December, an overwhelmingly large number of investors have confirmed their 
desire for a de-listing and obtaining more direct exposure to the private equity 
portfolio, valued at prevailing net asset values. As a result, the Board and the 
manager are now preparing the necessary steps to be taken, ahead of an 
Extraordinary General Meeting that is expected to be held in the third quarter. 
 
 
Urs Wietlisbach, a Director of PGGO and co-founder of Partners Group, said: "The 
proposed capital restructuring is intended to allow shareholders to obtain true 
exposure to the private equity portfolio, therefore eliminating undue stock 
market volatility". 
 
 
The expected change in the capital structure will be accompanied by a reduction 
in the current leverage, achieved through PGGO selling part of its mezzanine and 
fund portfolio during the course of this year. PGGO intends to maintain a 
reduced leverage level beyond 2009 and is in the process of securing new sources 
of debt financing to achieve its targets.
