SKILLSGROUP PLC ("the Company")

The Company has sought a block listing facility for Ordinary Shares that are
issuable under the rules of its Unapproved Share Option Scheme 1992.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of
1,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each, ranking pari passu in all respects with
the existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to the Official List.  These
Shares will not be allotted immediately, but when the Scheme rules allow.

Copies of this announcement may be obtained from the Company's Registered
Office for a period of 14 days, and at the Company Announcements Office of the
London Stock Exchange for 2 days following this announcement.
