ANNOUNCES
CHANGES TO ITS BOARD AND COMMITTEES
Standard Chartered PLC (the
"Company") today announces that David Conner, independent
non-executive Director, will retire from the Board and as a member
of the Audit, Board Risk and Remuneration Committees with effect
from 30 December 2024.
José Viñals, Group Chairman
said:
"On
behalf of the Board, I would like to thank David Conner for his
exceptional service and dedication to the Group during his nine
years on the Board. We have greatly benefitted from his insights
and expertise gained over many years of working across some of our
key markets. During his time with us, David has played a key role
as a member of the Board and our committees and led the Board Risk
Committee with distinction. We wish David all the very best for the
future."
The Company also announces a number
of changes to its Board Committees:
Board Risk Committee
Diane Jurgens and Jackie Hunt, both
independent non-executive directors, will join the Board Risk
Committee with effect from 1 January 2025 and David Tang,
independent non-executive director, will step down from the same
date.
Remuneration Committee
David Tang and Jackie Hunt will join
the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 January
2025.
Culture and Sustainability Committee
Jackie Hunt stepped down from the
Culture and Sustainability Committee on 8 December 2024.
