                          RESIGNATION OF JOINT BROKER


The Board of Virotec International plc ("Virotec") (AIM: VTI) have been informed
by Numis Securities Limited of their resignation as joint broker to Virotec.

Numis Securities acts as Nomad and broker to Hydrodec Group plc who have
publicly stated their intention to make an offer for Virotec and hence their
resignation is intended to remove any potential conflict of interest.
