Constar International Inc. (NASDAQ:CNST) has entered into an Oxbar(R) patent license agreement with Amcor (Packaging) Australia Pty Ltd. under which Amcor will be able to supply its Australia and New Zealand customers with PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles having enhanced oxygen-scavenger protection for excellent retention of product quality. The initial application will be for packaging wine. The Oxbar(R) patents are licensed to leading converters and brandowners worldwide. Bottles made under licenses to the Oxbar(R) patents protect oxygen-sensitive products including wine, beer, fruit-based beverages and foods in PET containers.
