Hydril (NASDAQ:HYDL) The Board of Directors of Hydril elected
Michael D. Danford as Vice President - Human Resources, effective
immediately. Mr. Danford has served as director of human resources
since 1997; and prior to coming to Hydril he held human resource
positions with Houston based oil tool companies for approximately
eleven years. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Northeast
Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana - Monroe).
Richard C. Seaver, Hydril's Chairman, said, "I am confident in the
abilities of Mr. Danford to continue to lead the broad and
strategically important aspects of our global human resources in
his newly elected role as vice president. Mr. Danford, while
focusing on organizational effectiveness for increasing efficiency
