Nice Systems to Acquire inContact for $870.7 Million

Business software provider Nice Systems Ltd. on Wednesday said
it agreed to acquire cloud contact software maker inContact Inc.
for about $870.7 million in cash.
The transaction, in which Nice will pay $14 for each share of
inContact, values inContact at $940 million, including debt. The
per-share price represents a 55% premium to inContact's close
Tuesday.
Nice said the deal, which is expected to close by the end of the
year, will create a suite of cloud-software products. It expects
the deal to add to earnings starting in 2017.
Shares of inContact, down 6% this year, added 55% premarket to
$13.95.
