Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers

On November 27, 2023, Andrew A. Ziegler notified Artisan Partners Asset Management Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to retire from the board of directors of the Company, effective November 27, 2023. Mr. Ziegler's decision to retire was not the result of any disagreement relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices. The Company, which Mr. Ziegler co-founded with Carlene Ziegler in 1994, thanks Mr. Ziegler for his commitment and years of service.
