Cingular Wireless Opens First Retail Location in Downtown Detroit Detroit residents will have convenient access to innovative wireless products and services DETROIT, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Cingular Wireless announced that it has opened its first retail location in Detroit's downtown area. The store, located at 111 Monroe Street in the new Compuware complex, is geared to strengthen Cingular's presence in Detroit, as well as meet the needs of the many businesspeople in the area. The new location will make it easier and more convenient for Detroit residents to sign up for wireless service, or to upgrade their existing service with new, fun and innovative features, handsets and accessories.
