Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A (“Company” or “Eletrobras”) (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, as of July 03, 2023, Itaú Corretora de Valores S.A. ("Itaú") will start to act as bookkeeping agent for the Company's shares, replacing Banco Bradesco S.A. ("Branco Bradesco").

As of the referred date, holders of Company shares under custody in the bookkeeping environment ("Bookkeeping Shareholder") will be attended by Itaú through the e-mail PreAtendimentoEscritural@itau-unibanco.com.br and telephone (11) 3003-9285 (capital and metropolitan regions) / 0800 7209285 (other locations).

Shareholders with shares under custody at B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão will continue to be served, normally, by their respective securities brokers and/or custody agents, and there will be no interruption in the trading of the Company's shares.

As a result of this migration process, there will be a suspension in shareholder service with Banco Bradesco from June 26, 2023, to June 30, 2023, or the following procedures:

i.      Inquiries on share position;

ii.      Transfer of shares outside the stock exchange

iii.      Transfer of custody;

iv.      Payments for any pending events;

v.      Registration update; and

vi.      Registration of liens, among others.

 

Share transfer orders (transfer of custody) whose blocks have been effected by Banco Bradesco, without the respective deposit having occurred, will be transferred to Itaú and will remain valid until the respective due date.

We reiterate that the change of the bookkeeping agent will not imply any change in the rights conferred to the Company's shares, including those related to dividends. Likewise, any payments made will be credited to the same current account previously indicated by the Bookkeeping Shareholder.
