HERNDON, Va., July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Army
awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) a
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, with a potential value of
$205 million, to continue providing
mission logistics services in support of combat brigades training
at the National Training Center in Fort
Irwin, California.
The contract covers one base year and two one-year options.
Support will include the full range of mission logistics services:
maintenance, supply, transportation, plus tactical logistics
support staff planning and operations. Northrop Grumman has
provided logistical support services to the National Training
Center and Fort Irwin since
2001.

Active, reserve and National Guard combat teams, ranging from
4,000 to 6,000 soldiers, rotate into the National Training Center
to conduct the most challenging and realistic force-on-force and
live-fire training.
