Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced today that Alleace Gibbs has been appointed vice president,
Communications for its Technical Services sector, effective
Oct. 20. She will report to
Darryl M. Fraser, corporate vice
president, Communications. Gibbs replaces David R. Apt who is retiring from the company at
the end of the year.

external communications functions within our Electronic Systems

In her new role, Gibbs will lead all communications activities
for Technical Services, including development and implementation of
strategic communications plans for the sector and business
initiatives; advertising; media relations; social media; employee
communications; executive communications; and creative services.
She will be a member of Northrop Grumman's Communications
Council.
Gibbs currently serves as director, Employee Communications for
the Electronic Systems sector. In 16 years with Northrop Grumman,
she has held a number of lead roles in division communications,
communications campaign management, trade show planning and social
media.
Gibbs earned a Master of Business Administration degree from
Morgan State University and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from
Bowie State University.
