BALTIMORE, Oct. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have selected Northrop Grumman
Corporation (NYSE: NOC) for the Medicare Beneficiary Database Suite
of Systems (MBDSS). The $53.7 million
contract will run through November
2018. Northrop Grumman will continue work on MBDSS adding a
new scope that includes modernization activities and integration
with Medicare Enrollment and Premium Billing Systems (MEPBS).

Since the last award, the program was redesigned to reduce data
lag, allow for faster processing of beneficiary information, ensure

visibility to data supporting business decisions.
