Exxon Mobil Corp. on Wednesday reported a line leak and above-normal emissions at a Flexicoker Unit of its refinery in Baytown, Texas.

"Coker Naphtha Rundown Line experienced a leak resulting in emissions to [the] atmosphere," the refinery said in a statement to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. "Troubleshooting was initiated to identify the cause of the leak. Operational adjustments were made to isolate the leak ... no adverse environmental impact to the site."

Exxon said the emissions happened Tuesday and lasted about one hour.

The 561,000-barrel-a-day Baytown refinery lies 25 miles east of Houston
