Aker Solutions said Friday that it has been awarded a contract worth between 500 million and 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner ($45.8 million-$137.4 million) by ExxonMobil to provide subsea umbilicals for the Uaru project in Guyana.

Project execution, engineering, and manufacturing will take place at the Aker Solutions facility in Mobile, Alabama, with work beginning immediately and delivery planned for the first quarter of 2026.

The contract will be booked as order intake in the second quarter of 2023.
